Indrahar pass trek was stunning. Day 2 brought us up to the glacier where we camped in beautiful alpine scenery. Day 3 started very early at 4:30am to start the 1200m climb up to the pass. The route involves crossing glacier twice - … More the second traverse is across a steep walk of ice requiring steps to be cut with ice pick. If your footwear does not have good grip (like mine) it is important to be roped up for that section as a fall there would likely be fatal. There is a lot of climbing on all fours up the cliffs at the top. It’s a tough trek as the air is thin at the top where the terrain is steepest. Sachin expertly guided us in what was difficult and at times dangerous terrain. The views at the top are worth it. So if you are fit and acclimatized to altitude go for it. A Himalayan highlight for me. Manu was great to deal with. Professional and great value.
