Itinerary

Day 1 Mcleod Ganj to Bhal River : 12 Km ( 2020 mts)

We meet at Mcleod ganj (Manu Adventures India Office) and after a short briefing we start our trek. The trek takes you thru Dharamkot known as little Israel and then we pass the Dal lake and Naddi village and offers a panoramic views of whole Kangra valley. It is a flat trek from Naddi to Bhal Village and is also known as shepherd village. The entire trek is covered with cedar, oak and rhododendron trees. We reach our Bhal campsite where we stop for lunch and then move forward to visit Guna temple. It is also known as Kali temple situated in the middle of the forest. After spending some quality time we trek back to our camp for night stay.

Day 2 Bhal River to Triund 09 Km ( 2975 mts )

After early breakfast we start our trek. Today the mountain trail continues uphill for most of the day. We cross the Bhated River and follow a rough trail which climbs steeply through the forest to Galu temple which is also a check post to Triund. From Galu temple the terrain changes to a wide paved path as we continue our gradual uphill climb all the way to till Triund. After trekking few hours we reach magic view café which is the oldest tea shop and a great selfie point. We stop here for lunch and click some awesome pics. Then we start our trek again for Triund which is set on an alpine meadow high up on a ridge facing snow capped peaks of Dhauladhars on other side is the beautiful Kangra Valley. If you are lucky enough then you will get to see the clear view of Dhauladhar milky range. The feeling on the top is unbelievable. Overnight stay in camps. .

Day 3 Triund to Mcleod ganj. 08 Km ( 1750 mts)

We take different route back to Mcleod ganj. The finest stretch the trekking in the mountains will be the return journey back to Dharamsala, which is downhill. We pass through a beautiful water fall before finishing our trek at Bhagsu Nag Village near Bhagsu Temple.
