Jalsu pass is famously known as Valley of flowers of Himachal and its the easiest way of connecting two holy places Baijnath and Mani Mahesh Kailash. The most spectacular meadows at the top of the pass and en route offers you the most mesmerizing views that leaves imprint on your minds forever and ever. The entire trail is covered with lush green herbs, rhododendrons and plenty of water.
The pass stands at the height of 3900 meters and it offers a spectacular view of Chamba Kailash, Kuja peak and other prominent peaks of the Pir Panjal ranges.

Day 01: Arrive in Delhi. Transfer to hotel. Free afternoon to relax or explore – why not take a tuc-tuc ride, out and about? In the evening we will go to see India Gate – brightly lit at night, this is a popular spot for locals to meet their friends and hang out.

Day 02: Day sightseeing in Delhi. Delhi streets can be crazy, but today we have a chance to visit some of the beautiful quiet spots in Delhi, such as the serene Akshardam Temple, and the peaceful Lohdi Gardens. In the evening we catch the overnight train to Pathankot. This authentic experience is a great adventure, but don’t worry, we don’t travel quite in the way you may have seen in the movies! We will have individual bunks in air-conditioned carriages.
Day 03 : Panthanot – Chamba 6 to 7 hours drive

After breakfast drive to Chamba.  Overnight stay at Hotel in Chamba.  Afternoon visit Chamunda Devi Temple above Chamba town from where you have a good view of Chamba town and the ravi river below.  Also visit the ancient Laxmi Narayan Temples to participate in the evening prayer. Overnight stay in Hotel.




Day 04:  Chamba – Holi – Nayagran – Surai 12 kms
After an hour walk on the rough road we get to Nayagoan, a tribal village at the last road-head in Chamba valley. After visiting the village we continue our walk to Laka, a small temple at the end of the village. From here it is a steep downhill walk to cross a small stream over a wooden bridge. After crossing the stream it is uphill walk to the next village called Surie. Camp for overnight stay.

Day 05: Surie – Yara goth 8 kms, 4 hours walk
It is uphill walk passing through the long meadows of Yara goth. Camp for overnight stay. There are  sprawling, sloping grasslands, a generous sprinkling deodars on the way, lots of dark green Rhododendron bushes. Hence, the forest is dense provide calm climate to trekkers  and rare glimpse of Himalayan Thar, Sorrows, musk deer etc. The whole area is also famous for medicinal plants, shrubs and climbers. After a run of 4-5 hours the trail reaches at Yara Goth.Enjoy lunch here and spend the rest of the day in the Goth and get acclimatization for the next day journey. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in the camp.

Day 06: Yara goth- Base of Jalsu Pass 7 kms, 3 hours walk.
This short stage in included in order to get acclimatize to the altitude. Camp at the base of Jalsu Pass.

Party Time

Day 07: Base – Jalsu Pass (3900M)- Parie
After a short ascent for an hour and half we get to the top of the pass. From the pass we have distant view of the snow covered Himalayan peaks on one side the valley on the other. During April and May the trail to the pass is under snow and you have to walk on the snow to reach the pass.  From the pass it is steep downhill walk for three to four hours to Paris, a temporary shepherd encampment. Camp here for night stay.

Day 08: Parie – Uttarala – Dharamsala 

After breakfast start your last day walk down to the nearest road-head at Uttarala in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. Drive to Dharamsala.

Day 09 : Dharamsala Free day….and in night time we will have our celebration dinner.

Day 10: Dharamshala – Amritsar (Drive)
We have a free morning to further explore this magical town – why not visit the Tibetan market or take a visit to one of the majestic monasteries.
Day 11: Amritsar SightseeingIn the morning after breakfast start sightseeing of Amritsar city. Visit Golden Temple-also called as Harmandir Sahib, Jalianwala Bagh and Maharaja Ranjit Singh Summer Palace Museum situated in the heart of Ram Bagh and in the evening visit the Wagah border to see the famous flag retreat ceremony. Later return back to the hotel for overnight stay at Amritsar Hotel.Overnight: Hotel

Day 12: Amritsar – Delhi (AC TRAIN) 

In the morning transfer to Amritsar railway station to board the AC train to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to Hotel. Tonight we will go to Junkyard one of the Delhi’s most happening night club. Overnight: HotelDay 13 – Last Day in Delhi – Today is free to enjoy – visit the stunning Akshardham Temple, go shopping for bargains in Connaught Place, or marvel at one of the beautifully preserved heritage buildings that Delhi is famous for. Then transfer to the airport for our flight back to Home.
