Year-round Day Hike Tour Route: Mcleodganj – Dharamkot – Galu Temple – Magic View – Triund

The Triund peak stands at 2850 meters above sea level, offering a challenging yet rewarding trek of approximately 18km. This hike can be completed in 6-7 hours, making it feasible to conquer in a single day. The highlight of this adventure is witnessing the breathtaking sunset from the summit. With panoramic views of the Kangra Valley and the snow-capped Dhauladhar ranges, the scenery is truly picturesque. The trail provides some of the most stunning vistas with minimal elevation gain. From the top, you can marvel at the Moon peak, Rifle horn, and the majestic Dhauladhar range in all its glory. There are two routes to embark on this day hike. The easiest option is to take a cab to Galu Temple and commence your journey from there. Alternatively, you can start from Bhagsunag waterfall, which is a shorter but steeper route from the outset.
