Nag Tibba means the Serpents Peak. It is the highest peak in the lower Himalayas of Garhwal region. It also gives name to the Nag Tibba range which is one of the three ranges of lesser Himalayas, the other ranges are Dhauladhar and Pir Pajanl.
Nag Tibba is located at 3025 Meter and attracts thousands of tourist every year. Nag Tibba offers majestic scenic beauty and a good trek for adventure lovers. It is a perfect place for camping during spring and summer and one of the most suitable trek for winter when most of the treks are closed due to heavy snow. The climax of the hike comes with the unveiling of a vision of the Gangotri group of peaks. From the high point of Nag Tibba, you can mark out Bandarpoonch, Kedarnath and Chanabang—all absolutely mesmerizing snow peaks of the Garhwal Himalayas!
Arrive Haridwar railway station /Dehradun airport and meet your driving staff. Drive straight to Pantwari. Meet your trekking staff at Pantwari and start 8 km trek to Nagtibba base through lush dense forests. The trail today is reasonably steep and will take us about 4-5 hrs to cover it, moving at a leisurely pace. We will make a pit stop en route for lunch. Early evening we will arrive at the campsite. Post arrival we will set up a camp for the night. After a refreshing cup of tea/coffee we will explore the beautiful surroundings. In the night we will enjoy a sumptuous meal around a bonfire, under the star spangled sky. Overnight: Tent
Wake up in the morning with the chirping of birds and enjoy a hot cup of tea / coffee. After breakfast start 2 kms trek to Nagtibba Top (3025 M). From here we will enjoy the majestic views of the snow clad mountain ranges of Garhwal and Himachal. You will get to see the famous Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Neelkanth, Black peak and many more peaks from here. Capture the captivating views of over 200 miles of the Himalayan ranges besides those of the valley & the surrounding areas. Overnight: Tent
After breakfast a walk to reach the road head where our car will be waiting to drive us further to Dehradun.
